Mother's Day Crafts

Make a unique handprint flower for your mom and hear some Mother’s Day stories on Wednesday, May 8th from 10:30-11:30 AM. This program is open to ages 3-8. Registration begins April 24th. Call the children’s desk at 401-333-2422 x14 or stop in to register.

Children ages 8 and up are welcome to come with mom, grandma, or any favorite female on May 9th at 6:00 PM for some easy, fun beading! Registration begins April 25th. Call the children’s desk at 401-333-2422 x14 or stop in to register.

Girl Knitting

Knitting Club
Our wonderful knitting mom, Celinda, is going to lead a four week knitting series starting on Tuesday, May 14th from 4-5 pm. We are going to pre-register 12 girls ages 8 and up. Call the library at 333-2422, ext. 14 or stop by the children’s room to register. The girls are welcome to bring their own needles and yarn if they like, but they don’t have to.

Creative Movement with Heritage Ballet
The Lincoln Public Library welcomes the Heritage Ballet for a free creative movement dance class Wednesday, May 15th at 10:00 AM; for children ages 3-5 years.

Register in person or by calling (401) - 333- 2422 x14. Registration begins May 1st.
Please wear dance clothes or other movement-friendly attire. Ballet clothes welcome!

Join us on February 21st at 2:00 PM for a showing of Hotel Transylvania. The Hotel Transylvania, run by Dracula, is a unique, high-end resort catering only to the finest monsters and their families. Dracula is preparing for an extra special weekend - his daughter Mavis's 118th birthday - when trouble arises: a human has stumbled upon the resort for the first time ever! Even worse: the human has taken a liking to Mavis!

Make A Valentine!

Make A Valentine! Children of all ages are welcome on February 11th, Monday, from 4- 7pm at the Lincoln Public Library. Come to the library and make a valentine for someone special. No registration is required for this drop in craft activity, and be sure to say hello to your new children’s librarian, “Miss Eleanor”. This program is free for all library patrons.

Disney Trivia Game

Disney Trivia -- Scene It? Join us on December 27th, Thursday, from 2:00 to 3:30 PM for some Scene It? fun. Recommended for ages 6 and up, this DVD/trivia game features hundreds of questions about your favorite Disney films. More than just a trivia game, Scene It? also challenges you to use observation, memory, wordplay, and problem solving to decode the puzzles that you see on-screen.
Registration begins December 13th. You may reserve your spot by stopping by the Children’s Room, or calling 333-2422 ext.15.
